This printer is not physically connected to a 5250 terminal nor a PC; however,
It can be used when running CA/400. Users use it today to print screens and
other PC related documents.
My goal is to print bar coded reports from the AS400 and this one does it
very well. I have my OUTQ defined but the system is not allowing me to
create a device for it in anyway I try.
This is how I created the OUTQ:

A fairly old printer, but one that is supported in a number of ways.
The question of the day is "How do you have it connected ???"
If it's connected to a 5250 terminal with basic emulation, that's
pretty straight forward.(create a devd and use HPT)
If it's connected to a pc running CA/400, that's pretty straight
forward.(create a devd and use HPT)
If it's connected via twinax, it will auto config with no problem.
