When I do this, I copy the file to a mapped drive on the AS/400 (not DLO, but a directory under the root file system). Then use the CPYFRMIMPF (copy from import file) command to break the file into the AS/400 database. Provided the number of fields and the data type (char/numeric) match, this works well.
