Do you mean I can do RTVSYSVAL(BARSA)? What do I get back? How big a
variable do I need? :-)

You have found MY system value. I lobbied for this system value for
six
years, and I finally got it.
The system value support starts in V4R3, but in V4R2, if you have
the PTF
SF47472, there will be a data area in QGPL called QPRCFEAT that will
contain what your looking for. You may have to re-ipl to have the
data
area created.

Does anyone know how to find out how to find the processor feature
(not the
model) under V4R2? There is a system value under V4R5, but I can't
find one
under V4R2.
