I am using the following command to display tape error information:

PRTERRLOG TYPE(*VOLSTAT) VOLTYPE(3570)

It is not showing any of the tapes that I am using. I use the following command 
to init the tapes:

INZTAP     DEV(TAP01) NEWVOL(00501) CHECK(*NO)

Any ideas why the information does not show for my tapes?
