What about, "Keep our business goals met, keep our shop productive, keep
making profits, keep achieving IT goals and implementing new
technologies."? Why cry because IBM makes a profit by providing the best
possible system at a TCO lower than anyone else? Holy, smokes!

So how come nobody has suggested that we all go out and crash every
iSeries machine we can in protest? Then, they won't be the most reliable
any more, and IBM will be unhappy! We win!

Hey, but by that time our C/S jobs will give us the freedom to ditch the
iSeries if we need to. That is, if there is ever another box that is a
better value. But since the iSeries is still the best value around,
maybe we can quit crying for a while.
