Well if in fact that was how it was cleared.

If I go into the OUTQ & stick a 4 in front of each entry
as might be done by someone who not know about CLROUTQ
would that have the same impact?

I usually look at the Q first & if any entries related to a user job, move to
another Q to study later, then I use CLROUTQ but there is the option from
WRKOUTQ ... if it is used to clear the Q, does it update last used there also?
