Interesting point on the number of libraries.  Who the blazes would use
SAVRSTLIB to send *NONSYS?  My version will either do one at a time or
limit you to a single library.  This will work for the bulk of what we do
internally.

FTP is so much faster than SNA that I am not interested in ANYNET.

The real limit I see with rolling your own FTP version with scripting is
that
you can only save one library at a time to a *SAVF or you'll get CPF3789.
I'm
not sure what Object Connect is doing to allow SAVRSTxxx to handle multiple
libraries -- maybe it just iterates over the libraries one at a time?

At any rate, I've always just given in and setup ANYNET.  But I'd be
interested
in a straight TCP/IP implementation of SAVRSTxxx functionality...
