We didn't have any major problems. We had clients as old as V3R2 connecting
to V5R1, but only for 5250 and only via TCP/IP, no SNA.

I did have one machine using Ops Console, and that one had to have the
latest Client Access installed for Ops Console to work.

I found out the hard way that the old IPCS cards (2850?) are not supported
under V5R1. The card itself will work but its network adapter won't.

Be careful of the new case-sensitive passwords for DST, and if you have
people that regularly use SST you will have to set them up with DST
accounts.
