In reply to having to open up port 449 in your firewall to use standard CA
express ports is not necessarily true.  Under properties in your system
definition under the connection tab, in the field "where to look up remote
port", select standard or local.  You will not need to use the server mapper
now.  Now if you move your standard ports on your AS400 by changing your
service table well you can make the same changes in your PC's service map
file and select local.
