I ended up using the query manager utility to "omit" the field....yes.
That I know how to do....but I was sure there was a keyword or something in
STRSQL
That would let you omit a field on the display....guess I was mistaken.

Sorry for the confusion....when I said "report" I really meant the display
On the screen when I was using STRSQL.

Can you elaborate on one point? You show an example SELECT statement but ask
the question about "the report". Can you describe what you use to jump from
SELECT to "the report"?

That is, it might not be reasonably possible to omit a column if you're
using some default means of printing the result set; but it might be easy to
modify the program (or the query form or whatever is doing the printing).

For example, using a Query Manager form, you might use the 'Edit Column
Formatting' option to set Usage to "OMIT" for that column.
