This point is relevant to sites that integrate IIS with OS/400 for Web
serving.  You can use IIS as the primary Web server.  Give it the work of
serving static pages.  When a request comes along for dynamic content, have
an IIS script filter the request and pass it along to the 400.  No network
to traverse.  Just the internal bus.  Less opportunity for performance to be
affected by network traffic.  Provides a point of control for security
purposes.
