Since I brought up using QSH, David, I thought I'd better also warn you: QSH
and the IFS sometimes combine to do very odd things.  I'm on V4R5, so IBM
may have fixed some of this, but for example, take the following command:

touch *.jsp

If there are files with a .jsp extension, all are touched, and life is good.
However, if there are no .jsp files, it happily creates one called "*.jsp".
Yup, with the asterisk and everything.  You can't delete it with Windows
Explorer; the only way to get rid of it is with Ops Nav or via WRKLNK.

I managed to create all manner of illegal file names while I was playing, so
be careful.  And if you do see weird things lurking about, Ops Nav is your
friend.
