I was under the impression that the ECS could do this ON the AS/400 - my
system is ON the internet, but I still need my 12000 baud modem to dial
into IBM to order PTF's

Since I have a 1.5mbit Download capability - wouldn't it be great to
have ECS wake up & order these in seconds instead of using that damn 800
# (costs IBM Money!) and one of the many existing T1's to get 12K/2mbyte
Downloads of recent PTF's - since the system orders this? My system
would LOVE being THAT up to date!!
