Agreed, however the fact that you can put a LF in a different library from
the related PF makes this a problem that has to be handled. RCLSTG fixes
lots of other stuff too.

Al, you say:

"RCLSTG will just about fix whatever is wrong. A user profile that owns an
inaccurate number of objects, a PF in one library with related LFs in
different libraries, etc."

Aside from the design sillyness[1] of putting PFs in one library and LFs in
another what is "wrong" with this?

Walden,

I didn't know what RCLLIB was until Fall COMMON. I knew it was a
documented
restriction that you couldn't do a RCLLIB during save-while-active, and
I've
been commenting on this for years in my SWA pitch, also noting "What the
hell is RCLLIB?" Well in Minneapolis there were many IBM developers there
who were bussed up for the day, and the developer who does RCLLIB was in my
session, and sent me a note to this effect.

I suspect that a RCLLIB for each library will miss a lot. RCLSTG will just
about fix whatever is wrong. A user profile that owns an inaccurate number
of objects, a PF in one library with related LFs in different libraries,
etc.

>A RCLLIB is a mini RCLSTG just for one library.

Interesting, and yet RCLLIB doesn't require a dedicated machine. If I
looped
through all the libraries doing a RCLLIB what would I have missed? Objects
not in a library?
