Yes, the web-browser does many green screen functions with the usability
of the GUI interface.  It has brought some standardization, and
therefor, control to the user environment.  One thought (wish . . want .
.need) I have is to find the same type of standardization for a thicker,
more functional client.  A java based client is one that still makes
some sense.  Java Servlets from the 400, combined with a "standard", non
tweaked version of java on the client, allows for persistant, secure
connections with the performance of the green screen (hopefully!).
