I always liked the idea of having your server side script parse the XML and
generate the HTML.  This way you eliminate the incompatibilities of browsers
as well as speed issues of the local computer.  Since this discussion seems
to gear a lot around web clients as the next 5250 screen, this would seem
the most logical route.

Having the client side do the parsing adds too many variables.
