You may want to have a look at DB2 Multisystem - this is an operating
system feature which allows partitioning tables between two or more
systems. It also allows for distributed queries to this partitioned tables.

  Are there any limitations of creating queries between /400
systems?  Implementing joins come to mind.  Is a DDM file the best way to
implement it?  Are there any capability differences in this regard between
Query/400, SQL and OPNQRYF?  TIA.
