Ok, I am trying to use the internal modem for a dial out to a customer site but
getting the following error when trying to vary the line on:
--00002014: Conflict between IOA type and physical interface specified in
line description.

The 2771 card is the one. The telephone line is connected to an
internal V.90 56K Asynchronous MODEM. This MODEM could be used for
normal asynchronous PPP connections, including customer dial-in. It
could not be used for traditional AS/400 synchronous tasks. The card
has a feature code of #9771 and a CCIN number (reported in hardware
resources) of 2771, so they are the same thing and refer to the entire
card and both ports.
To set up PPP connections you would use Operations Navigator to
configure the connection, referencing a hardware resource of CMN02.
