the system value
QUPSMSGQ *SYSCTL Uninterruptible power supply message queue
will send out a message to certain message queues If you could put an exit
point program on the message
queue to mail the message that might work.
I am not sure if you can even put an exit point program on a message queue.
Also, what situation would need such a message:
Power failure, disaster, IPL or what?

Anyone heard of the ability of the 400 to send out a syslog message like a
Cisco router does on its way down? Just a UDP packet, doesn't care if it
gets anywhere, just says to the network "I'm dying, I'm dead..." etc. Any
help on this would be appreciated - either native support or a piece of
software which does it. Thanks in advance.
