Had a Win 98 (2nd edition) PC running CA Express V4R5. 5769-AC3 &
5769-CE3 installed on OS/400 V4R5 managing system.
When I ran Selective Setup in Client Access the SSL appeared there, I
downloaded & installed on PC OK, along with my certificate, and
successfully configured and ran Secured Telnet PC5250 session over port
992.

Now, repeated all the same on another PC (Win2000 Pro)- all worked fine.

On that second PC, used V5R1 CD and updated CA Express to V5R1. Installed
latest CA Service Pack.
Changed managing system to another of our 400's, that's running OS/400
V5R1 (with 5722-AC3 & 5722-CE3 installed).
Go into Selective Setup in Client Access. After an eternity (over a cable
modem connection, at least 10 minutes) it finally finishes it's "Checking
for installed components" - and SSL is NOT on the list !! PC an no longer
run secure Telnet (I guess installing CA V5R1 blew away the V4R5 SSL
piece).
