Rob,

If you are looking for examples of the object list APIs, I included
a CHGOBJ command as part of the open source iSeries-toolkit.
You can download the toolkit at:
http://iseries-toolkit.sourceforge.net.
To see the open list support look at the open list and object list
source members. You can view those at:

http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/iseries-toolkit/CVSROOT/src/qrpglesrc/objlst.irp?rev=HEAD&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup

http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/iseries-toolkit/CVSROOT/src/qrpglesrc/opnlst.irp?rev=HEAD&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup

I will add an example of their use to the documentation page at:
http://sourceforge.net/docman/?group_id=39365 if it would help
you.

Thanks - I'll take a look at this.

Use the Open List APIs.

I'd probably just call QGY/QGYOLOBJ to get the first object (or set of
objects) specifying keys 0302 and 0405 for owner and creator, then
call
QGY/QGYGTLE to continue through the list, and finally QGY/QGYCLST to
close
the list. For a test, you can grab a single object at a time and drop
out
to QGY/QGYCLST whenever you want. No outfile to create, no user space
limits -- just process the list.

Your specific need seems almost ideal for an entry into the Open List
APIs.
Limited requirements that are well known. Pretty simple request as
this
kind of thing goes.
