Even with NT and Win2K I've found that the client OS can try to authenticate
several times and disable my Netserver login before I manage to key in my
password.  It's easier to establish the same password expiration intervals
and tell the users to keep their passwords in sync.  That means they only
need one post-it on their monitors anyway.

 Usually, When I access the IFS it gives me a prompt
for my 400 userid and passwrd.  In the case of some
users it won't work. They can get into the as400 just
fine but they can't get into the IFS. The do have
directory entries...
