Re: 'freezing' PC's

I have CA Express and get a freeze fairly often (sometimes twice a day,
sometimes once a week), though I don't know if it will be the same
condidtion as yours.

I find that if I press any one of a number of keys (such as command keys)
at the EXACT same time as the screen is trying to give me a program
message, the screen freezes.  I can't use the alpha/number keys, Command
Keys or the enter keys.  I can, however, still use system request, so I can
startup an alternate session, for example.  Its all a bit weird.

In the end, I can only get out of the freeze by ending the job via
WRKACTJOB.


We have an area where  the PC's sometimes 'freeze'.  They are running
CA-Express.
A WRKACTJOB shows the sessions as status 'Run' but going deeper shows that
they are not using any CPU cycles.
