Use a query with sort/break on Proc field, on report summary functions,
use 3(minimum) on Itms field, output to a file, summary only.

Run qry on file created above to list

:Subject: SQL/Query query :)

:Hi,
:
:I have a PF containing data like this:
:
:Proc Itms
:------ ----
:300005 18
:300005 22
:300005 27
:300006 48
:300020 7
:300020 8
:300020 11
:
:I am trying to find a way to retrieve the record with the
:lowest value in the Itms field per Proc entry. Given the above
:example I would get
:this:
:
:300005 18
:300006 48
:300020 7
:
:I'm trying to do this with Query/400 or with STRQMQRY.
:Is it possible?
:
:Best regards,
:Matthias
