Joe,

I will like to tell you that I hardly meet people that use "Maiden" instead
of "First".  Remembering English 101 and professional interviewing format,
my lecturers always advice to simplify the use of English and make yourself
clearer to your listeners.

Dare, in modern American English, "maiden" is used far more often to mean
"first" than its older definition of "virgin".  The older definition has
fallen out of use here.
