That doesn't stop the messages.  It simply filters them.  Locate the job in
question and change it:  LOG(4 00 *NOLIST)  then display the joblog.

Golly!  Where did all those messages come from?

They are all in the job message queue.  All the LOG settings do is filter
them out of the DSPJOBLOG function -- including printing the joblog.
