Well, actually the model 250 ISN'T an iSeries. It's still considered an AS/400 (because of it's processor technology). ...Neil "Jim Franz" <franz400@triad.rr.com> Sent by: midrange-l-admin@midrange.com 2002-02-17 23:15 Please respond to midrange-l To: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> cc: Subject: model 250 This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] IBM made an announcement of special model 250 packaging. Yet the latest IBM eServer iSeries catalog failed to even list the 250 as a current system, and only was mentioned to buy memory & disk parts with the model 170. Is this machine about to go out to pasture? I can see the 270 and 8xx is main stuff, but leave iSeries "entry" system out of the catalog looks suspicious. Anyone know? Jim Franz
