Brad,
do you have to use QSH?

Doesn't CRTJVAPGM CLSF('/java/path/javapgm.jar') do the job?

I don't understand enough of QSH myself.

Subject: More QSH problems.. can't do a darned thing...

Hi.

I just started playing with QSH to compile and run some java
apps on a V4R5 machine, but I'm getting no where.

I type the command:
ls

and I get:
ls: 001-2113 Error found getting information for object
/home/BVSTONE/ . No such path or directory.
ls: 001-2113 Error found getting information for object
/home/BVSTONE/ . No such path or directory.
ls: 001-2113 Error found getting information for object
/home/BVSTONE/ . No such path or directory.

I type the command:
cd /foo

and I get:
cd: 001-0085 Too many arguments specified on command.

Even trying to compile a java program with:
javac Foo.java

I get:
javac: invalid argument:
use: javac [-g][-O][-debug][-depen.....

I don't recall QSH working great for me in the past, but at
least I could get it do compile a simple Java program.

Any ideas on what the problem could be? TIA!

Brad
