I believe that if you read the fine print regarding the PTF CD's, you'll
find that the cumulative PTF's have been put through some rather
extensive testing.  The group PTF's have not been tested to such a great
extent.  Whether or not IBM succeeds in putting together a non-lethal
cumulative CD is a different issue, but the expense of the cumulative
CD's is related to the implied warrantee and more extensive testing.
