If only this thread was on the list a few weeks ago. I had same problem.

I tried the exact same thing you did. It appears the administrator pages we
are used to seeing now rely on Tomcat, because of a servlet somewhere in the
mix requiring a servlet enabler (tomcat/WebSphere)
If your joblog is showing a SIGKILL, we are talking about the same thing.

To resolve:
Applied Group PTF SF99156. The default Apache admin instance will then work
using address http://192.168.1.1:2001 . I did not need ANY other changes.
The config file resides on the IFS.
