You need to properly install a user certificate on your PC as well as the
as400. These are tied to your user profile for logging on. Don't feel bad,
I have yet to invest the time to get CA to connect via SSL also. My first
attempt failed and I did some research, but never completed the project.

~~~But, Ops Nav won't connect with SSL turned on.
Art, sorry I did not your message earlier.
Make sure QUSRWRK is started and in startup.
Make sure STRHOSTSVR *ALL is run, I would end then start.
using NETSTAT *CNN make sure the corresponding SSL ports are listening.
if not, try this maybe:
When you go back into the certificate store. Even though the application
shows up as certificate assigned, renewing it made a difference on one V4R5
scenario I have had.
I think it depends on a lot of things, starting with PTF's.
If SSL is listening, see if your actually getting rejected.
