One of the selling features of Webfacing is that no changes are required to
the existing interactive program.  The existing program simply continues to
performs I/O on a workstation file.  Opening a workstation file is the event
that flags a job as interactive.  No?

It just seems to me like a sticky matter if IBM were to impose constraints
on all programs EXCEPT THEIR OWN for using "interactive features" (display
files and associated workstation interface).  Sticky from a public
relations, as well as a legal and ethical point of view.

Will the future version of Webfacing convert existing programs to use an
alternate interface?  Or will they continue  to use the existing workstation
interface - less the interactive penalty?
