Off topic I know, but I did purchase a set of Firestore Firehawk SZ50 EP's
for my Saab Viggen after the stink started with Ford over the Wilderness
AT tires. My opinion is Firestone got a raw deal this time, and it was
caused by Ford recommending too low a tire pressure. (And I've been
extremely pleased with them too - especially at the track !). ;-)

While the "proactive" part is commendable, it's not a really good
argument, since their "rock solid" reputation would go downhill very
quickly if they didn't. For a comparison on how NOT to do it, see:
"Firestone."
By a raise of keyboards, how many would voluntarily purchase a Firestone
tire when other alternatives are just as available?
