If this were true, the first file of a 2 file set would have given the same 
message.
one file transfers ok, the second one issues the message.??...weird

Sounds like it is trying to get/putdata from the 1920 char screen buffer in
the API and can't find the pointer to that data area in the PC's memory.  Is
there some kind of requirement as to having a specific kind of emulation
program running?  This is certainly true with the Nlynx ETU products which
do not work with, for example, CAE.
