I assume you are connecting to the AS400 ok it is just when you try to use IFS. You might want to look at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/v4r4/ic2924/info/apis/qzlslsti.htm check out "Allow system name" and "Server name" not sure why they do not tell you DSPNETA is how to see the AS/400 network attributes. The other netserver API's are at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/v4r4/ic2924/info/apis/ss1.htm#Header_4 If you do write something to check and would not mind sharing the source I am starting to work on an open source project for these API's. Or you could just go and set it to allow Allow system name using http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/v4r4/ic2924/info/apis/qzlschsn.htm or Ops Nav to change it.
