I concur that Aseries customer are being prescribed to, to the extent that utter
confusion reigns. I have asked chaps to configured a machine for me. HELL!!! I
take cognizance of the fact that the interpretability of hardware MUST be
accommodated.  I also recognize the fact that certain features are only
supported under certain versions of the OS.

What gets me is that IBM subscribes (in absolutely every aspect) to a model that
says : 'If it can be complex, why make it simple?'.
