Would it be tricky for the web server to support both this directly
attached device, and lan attached devices?  Maybe not.

What browser would it run?  After all, the original thin client browser
would not support Notes and had a statement that it never would.  Most of
us, regardless of our likes or dislikes, have to support the latest IE
browser because that is what many people accessing our web site would use.

Could there not be some kind of onboard thin client thingy in a box like
this? That could have a minimal emulator, plus a browser, etc. It might
not
end up being a laptop - maybe a bit bigger.
