I agree. There are many different ways to access data. Just protecting
the ODBC interface is insufficient. Simply switching to a different user
will provide some protection, but there are other ways into the system.

Castlehill Computer Services SECURE/NET product does not switch users,
but it will allow each file to be separately and individually secured
from Ops Nav, FTP, ODBC, Net Server, File Transfer, etc. independent of
OS/400 security. It is not slow and will not have a noticable impact on
user response time.
