One more place to look is your firewall at work. IT could and SHOULD block the TCP/IP net bios ports. The last thing you want is every hacker in the world having access your AS400 shares. Passwords are sent in the clear!! Any one can sniff one out. I would and do use VPN. We use CISCO's client to connect to a CISCO VPN server. If your firewall does not block net bios, the world can see your entire network, PC's and all. Christopher K.
