Steve Try to identifying then modifying job description the QZRCSRVS job runs under. I have found in the past that these jobs all seem to have a different job description which allows you to get away with this - your situation may of course be different :) You will probably want to set this back after you have finished your debugging/testing as I suspect that writing a job log when the call is finished incurs some kind of perfomance penalty. Hope this helps. Regards Evan Harris >I am using the CAE cwbRC_CallPgm api to call an as400 program from a VB >program. > >A job named QZRCSRVS, user QUSER runs on the as400 to execute the call. Job name, user name, library list, Logclpgm(*Yes), >log(4 00 *seclvl )? What about the subsystem that the job runs in?
