Use a Palm device.  Best is a Phone/Palm pda (Kyocera Smartphone or the
new Treo from handspring).

Or just get the Palm Desktop software.  It does pop-ups and wont cost
you a penny.  Then someday, if you get a Palm OS/Phone, you will have
your calendar no matter where you are.
