I tried it, and it worked... But I now have this issue...

The original query was 198 chars wide. And when I run it within qry/400 it
works fine...

When I use the command :
=> STRQMQRY QMQRY(DEVTIMH/INSURANCE) OUTPUT(*) QMFORM(*QMQRY)
ALWQRYDFN(*YES)  SETVAR((GETDATE ''' 2/11/2002'''))

It displays the data great on the screen, but when I try to print the report
OUTPUT(*PRINT) it doesn't use the original printer information in the
query, but it takes the 1st 4 columns and put them in 1 spoolfile, and then
the next columns and puts them in a different spoolfile...

Any ideas?

Thanks again, tim
