The navigation applet usually is the culprit. When it doesn't crash, it is very slow. I know that is mostly due to slow internet access but the gobs of data that must be downloaded just for the first page doesn't help. That essentially puts IBM documentation out of my reach (during 8 - 5 anyway.) Thank goodness for the midrange lists and the kindness of the members! Phil
