What is the 'software clock'? never heard about this animal. The PowerPC chip maintains the 'real' hardware clock (the Time Base), from which the 'system clock' (QHOUR etc) is computed. Then there is the64-bit 'MI-clock' that you materialize with MATMATR.. But the 'software clock' ??
