What does "not available for use" mean? If your AS/400 is in Chicago and
"management" is in NY and the T1 line is down is the AS/400 available for
use?

Assuming the network isn't involved in the reporting then QHST should have
everything you need. Do a DSPLOG MSGID(CPF1128 CPF1168) and you'll see the
start and end messages for all the jobs. With this and IPL info you should
be able to track just about everything.
