ICF bug

I have an ICF program that works... But it only sends data to the bank...

But now, we would like to receive the confirmation record at the end of the
transfer..

Is there anything special I need to setup in the DDS or RPG to do this?
When I tried doing a  READ rcvdta, the icf trace shows that the data in the
receive is equal the data I just wrote, plus it has extra giberish (cryptic)
text at the end of the record..

any ideas?
