I just MOVed the file from QOpenSys to another file system, /DBale, that I just created. Then I was able to copy the file in Windoze Exploder to my C: drive. What gives? Using WRKLNK, /DBale shows having a code page of 437, while /QOpenSys shows a code page of 37. Everything else is the same. Could code page 37 be the problem? I've used FTP quite a bit to transfer files both ways between AS400's QSYS.LIB & pc. How does one FTP from a different file system? - Dan Bale (I am *NOT* "Dale" http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200105/msg00281.html ) SAMSA, Inc. 989-790-0507 DBale@SAMSA.com <mailto:DBale@SAMSA.com> Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
