This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Thank you for your response. While you can still use the old UDS 208 B/D, you can no longer configure a line for it. We tried the IBM fax/data modem but evidently that will not go down to 4800. We are trying an AT&T Paradyne but are having problems. Our current EDI coordinator has been led to believe that if we move from sync to async, or PPP, then we will need to pay GEIS an extra monthly fee for an additional trading partnership or some such thing. This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Carl, Thanks, and I may take you up on that. But we also noticed a problem with a 2609 port that we temporarily borrowed from another application that, incidentally, happens to use the same model of UDS 208 B/D modem. Same problem, except with all the lights. And we matched every option on the line and controller description with the working AS/400. Just got a burp that the problem might be a *ALLOBJ / *IOSYSCFG issue. I am going to check that out.
