Attrition through  hiring freeze would rarely make a  big splash in the
news. Right now  that  might be too slow for  the company's objectives in
the dynamics  of managing their business.

Employees  are motivated to stay with the same employer for many reasons.
Money is  one  but  other areas such as trust, liking the environment,
work  life style type items are major as long as the  bucks are
competitive.  It is costly  process to lose and retain staff.
