This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- Short answer is yes, but in all honesty, you don't want to go there. I would suggest you look into auto monitor software packages, these can even answer the "easy" errors automatically for you, and some can even be set up to page, e-mail, or voice mail whom you designate. There are a few out there, unfortunately I do not have any links, the one we work with here is a package from Byteware - basically happy with it; now our on-call person has a text/cell phone to get the messages - I would prefer to be able to answer with that device too, but either they don't offer it, or we just have not had the time to look into that feature (mostly the later). Is there a way to send messages that are waiting for a reply that are sent to qsysopr to also be sent to other users? We would like all qsysopr messages to be sent to our IT department, if the need an answer. Many times messages are sitting out there being unattended and holding up jobs. If our system administrator is out we do not have someone monitoring all the subsystems for jobs that are in error. Thank you! _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. -- [ winmail.dat of type application/ms-tnef deleted ] --
